By requesting or using services from Richmond Unlocked (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“the customer”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
Services Provided
- Richmond Unlocked provides automotive lockout services. We also provide fuel delivery and jump start assistance when needed.
- Services may include non-destructive vehicle entry, fuel delivery, and jump start assistance using professional tools and techniques.
- We do not provide key cutting, ignition repair, or mechanical vehicle repair
Customer Authorization
- By requesting service, you confirm that you are the vehicle owner or have legal authority to access the vehicle
- You authorize Richmond Unlocked to perform vehicle entry services at your request
- You acknowledge that proof of ownership or authorization may be required prior to service
Assumption of Risk
- Automotive lockout services involve working within tight tolerances of vehicle doors, frames, seals, and locking mechanisms
- Modern vehicles contain sensitive materials, electronics, weather stripping, and finishes
- Minor cosmetic effects may occur during normal and careful entry, even when industry-standard procedures are followed
Limitation of Liability
- Richmond Unlocked is not responsible for minor scratches, scuffs, seal impressions, or cosmetic marks that may occur inside or around the door frame during standard vehicle entry
- Richmond Unlocked is not liable for pre-existing damage, wear, weakened seals, misaligned doors, aftermarket modifications, or prior repair issues
- We are not responsible for damage resulting from attempts made by others prior to our arrival
- Liability, if any, is limited to the cost of the service performed
No Guarantee of Entry
- While we use professional techniques, some vehicles may not be accessible without specialized dealership tools
- We reserve the right to refuse service if entry would risk excessive damage
Payment Terms
- Payment is due at the time of service, we have a right to ask for payment before we gain access to your vehicle
- Pricing may vary based on location, vehicle type, time of day, and complexity
- Failure to submit payment may result in refusal of present or future service
Right to Refuse Service
- We reserve the right to refuse service for safety, legal, or ethical reasons
- This includes suspected lack of authorization, refusal to pay before car access, unsafe conditions, or hostile behavior
Indemnification
- You agree to hold harmless and indemnify Richmond Unlocked from claims arising from false authorization, misrepresentation of ownership, or circumstances beyond our control
Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia
Changes to Terms
- Richmond Unlocked may update these Terms and Conditions at any time
- Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms
